Superman killed!
No shit he did. Would you let a crazed alien asshole kill innocent people in front of you?
Plus, Man of Steel was about a Superman who has yet to find himself.
This is the whole point of BvS. Why Batman fears him so much.
I'm not sure I understand how hard things like these are to grasp.
Superman will be your boyscout before long, have no fear.
But I do agree with the Flash's armor...tf was that?
As to Aquaman...where have you been the last 20 odd years? Justice League's version is pretty spot on to the one that has existed in comics since he lost his hand in the 90s and became a fairly angry individual.

Re: TEN LAME KNOCK-OFF TOYS THAT YOU GOT INSTEAD OF THE REAL THING

Also, I had a transforming robot my mom got me at the height of the Voltron craze that was made to cash in on it.
I don't remember its name, but it was awesome in design, but its QC was horrible.
It was a very Japanese looking robot that turned into a futuristic armored transport and a space ship.
Wish I could find what it was called. Yeah, not so sure they are still being made ;)
Actually, in Japan, Beast Saga falls under the Transformers umbrella, as the Battle Beasts homeworld appears in a few episodes of one of the Japanese series.
And if you want to pick on a Voltron, why not the six armed freak one? If I am owner of the comic business, I would say hell no. Think something different with the costume styles. No need for the old classic. It is over. If readers prefer classic, they are living in the past. New generation is not into old classic things. They are into new modern age. I like the change cuz I can learn and see something new. I am getting boring the same thing over and over. Move on to new and changing. This is 2018! Hello.

Re: 5 Reasons Why Superman Needs Those Red Undies Back

No no hell no
I don’t want superman’s old costume is back. Old one throws away. It is new costume style. I like it. I don’t care it is too blue. It looks fine to me. Time is changing. Remember clothes cannot be same forever. Clothes are always changing everyday. It is 2018. Not 1978. Old costume is too geekish. Hello! This is 21 Century in 2000s. I can see why they are crying over the old costume. No big deal with crying about it. Man up and accept and move on the new modern and no longer 80s. No need to bow to crying people. Move on anyway. Have a good day
Peace out

Re: MOVIE REVIEW – ‘ENDER’S GAME’

I watched enders game in class, or half of it because my teacher wouldn't let us finish it, but the start seems very slow and very predictable. Why are they swiped? Swiped from where?) and horrible comparisons (actually the comparisons are quite accurate). At least try (missing a comma here) if you're going to go to this much trouble (I think Clambo just convicted himself here. What is his point? He backs it up with nothing.). Schmuck (Did Clambake really just use that word? I think the only time I've ever heard that word used was in Mad magazine.). Jeff Carter, I think it's a brilliant piece of writing and quite accurate. I grew up in the 70s and 80s and remember these knock-offs quiet well. I even had 6 of those Tomland figures and they were weird, but I still liked playing with them. I'm not sure why people like Clambone have to write stupid stuff to try to tear people down, especially when they have no clue what they are talking about. Take your own advice Clam Chowder and try harder next time Mr. Clambo Rambo. Oh and Battle Beasts are so cool. Wish I collected them as a kid. Now they are worth some money.

Re: LEAGUECAST #211 – THE FINAL EPISODE

While I just replied on my last comment. IT wasn't true to the series at all. I even wonder if the writers of this film even bothered to watch the others. The shit I took this morning had more quality than this terrible movie. It's a pock mark on the entire Phantasm series ;( ;(

Re: The Top 5 Dumbest Critiques Of Marvel Movies

It's amazing how many people don't understand that "dance off" at all. First off, tonally it's right in line with the rest of the film's comedic flourish. Secondly, it's also thematically consistent with Peter's character. In a moment of complete desperation, when all hope is gone, Peter saw one last glimmer of a way out (Rocket finding the supergun he had built earlier), so he did the only thing he knew how to do - he resorted to his defense mechanism, which was his humor and his love of music, in a last-ditch effort to distract a madman from obliterating it all. It worked, Ronan was power-mad and completely baffled by this insect's insignificant attempts to stop him, and was distracted long enough to be shot by rocket. Finally, what you and many other dimwits fail to acknowledge, is that the "dance-off" is not what defeated Ronan at all, it was Quill leaping to catch the Infinity Stone, and letting go of his selfishness and fear of loving others and joining with the rest of the team so they could channel the energy of the stone into Ronan and destroy him. Mic drop. Bye.

Re: The Top 5 Dumbest Critiques Of Marvel Movies

Congratulations on being a dumb fuck who thinks this drivel explains anything. The jokes were good and well placed at first. Now they are just terrible out of place jokes. Take GOTG for instance the "fight" with Ronan the accuser is won with a dance off. I mean wtf, you may not know Marvel as I do. But I for one can tell you they no longer exist, its just disney now.

Re: The Top 5 Dumbest Critiques Of Marvel Movies

Congratulations on ignoring literally all of the evidence presented here that debunks that notion.

Re: The Top 5 Dumbest Critiques Of Marvel Movies

I only agree with number 3, I have slowly lost faith in the MCU. Too many jokes none of them take themselves seriously. The whole MCU has become a stupid out of place joke. Disney has ruined Marvel creatively. This could possibly be changed if the fans weren't such mindless drones.

Re: 5 Reasons Why Superman Needs Those Red Undies Back

It takes a Super "Man" to carry off the red trunks look. Mid-90's I was collecting Morbius, Ghost Rider, (Sons of Midnight stuff), Vampirella, The Crow and other supernatural/horror type books. Superheroes weren't my thing and to this day it's the early 50s - late 70s horror comics I keep going back to, especially EC and Warren.

Anyway, money was limited back then but recently I've picked up the comics I wanted to get back in the mid-90's. Preacher is awesome, The Sandman is spectacular, and now I've gone on to Spawn. It's awful. The art isn't bad (not necessarily spectacular) but I'm 12 issues in and it's a mess. I've been going to various forums to see why everyone was so into this comic back in the day and universally people do not like it. Glad I didn't waste my money back in the day, especially on the 50 or so variant covers that came out for every issue.

Venom was good for plot but you're absolutely right that he's to thin for his own series. Maximum Carnage was the only Spider-Man arc I got into, and he did a LOT of team-ups with Ghost Rider (and Vengeance, who should be on this list too if he was more popular). Liked him in those stories but never even considered him a character with depth.

TL:DR - You're right on about Spawn and Venom.

Re: TEN FAN-MADE SUPERHERO/SCI-FI FILMS THAT DON’T SUCK

Gay.
